Just finished reading "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer. It was not really light holiday reading for christmas but a very intelligent and moving book nevertheless. It deals with the search for answers of a 9 yr. old boy who lost his father in the 9/11 attacks on New York City.
